The picture above is the entrance to the print-making workshop, which is equipped with all facilities for the needs of the 1 or 2 day courses.
We offer an exciting program of workshops dealing with specialist aspects of print processes including, etching, mezzotint, dry point, lino-printing, bookmaking, letterpress. These workshops are aimed at a wide audience, are suitable for both beginners and more experienced printmakers alike, and cover a wide range of methods and processes.
The course tutor, Michael Atkin , is a member of the Printmakers Council, The Oxford Guild of Printers, The Private Libraries Association and Secretary of The Fylingdales Group of Artists. He has over 40 years' of successful teaching experience across a wide range of levels, and enjoys an international reputation as an artist- printmaker. He has exhibited widely throughout Britain and abroad, and his work is held in many national and international collections including The Victoria and Albert Museum, The British Museum, National Library of Australia, British Gas, British Petroleum, Ohio State University,Hartlepool Council, Leeds City Council, and many others.
